DIGITAL ENDOSCOPY Endoscopy uses a flexible fibre-optic camera that allows us to examine the structures in the nasal cavity, throat, and lower airway. This is often done to screen for abnormalities during prepurchase examinations, and also in cases of respiratory illness, abnormal breathing, and unexplained nasal discharges. Examinations are digitally recorded. GASTROSCOPY The gastroscope is a longer version of the endoscope that provides images of the esophagus and stomach. This is used to diagnose gastric ulcers as well and other gastric diseases such as tumors, and esophageal disorders.
