McKee-Pownall Equine Services provides regular
on-farm care for many local stables. Preventative health care is instrumental
in ensuring a healthy horse, we offer a preventative
health program.
Services offered to our farm clients include:
- A vaccination program with reminder
services. We call you when your horse is due for shots, so they are
not overlooked or missed.
- Deworming, which can be dispensed or administered
by a veterinarian, and advice for a suitable schedule are provided.
- Emergency care for colics, wounds, eye injuries,
illness, etc.
- Non-emergency appointments for on-farm evaluation
of medical problems and lameness.
- Dentistry
- Nutritional advice
- Medication dispensing
- Health certificates, coggins, insurance exams
- Counseling and care for special needs horses such
as geriatrics, chronic respiratory cases, cushings disesase, etc.
