Campbellville Staff

Katie Ardeline

Katie joined the McKee-Pownall team in the fall of 2009 and brings a background in Human Resources to the Team.  She currently lives in the country and enjoys all outdoor pursuits. Katie’s equestrian interests lie in Eventing and pampering her retired Appaloosa, Ute.

Laura Holmes

Laura is the Office Manager in our Campbellville location. Laura joined the McKee-Pownall team in the fall of 2009, allowing her to combine her customer service skills with her equine enthusiasm. Having competed in both hunter and dressage disciplines in her youth, Laura is now content to pleasure ride. In addition to the occasional trail ride, Laura is kept busy with her family and rescue dog – a Plott hound with a nose for mischief!

Stacey Thompson

Stacey joined the McKee-Pownall team in January 2010.  She received a B Sc. in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph and has always had a special interest in horses.   She has been involved with horses for almost 15 years and has spent the last 9 years working closely with Thoroughbred mares, foals, and yearlings on large breeding farms.  She enjoys spending time with her two horses: 20 year old Quarter Horse, Romeo, and 27 year old Arabian, Zarr.

Jacqui Evans

Jacqui Evans joined the McKee-Pownall team in August of 2012 as a vet assistant in our Campbellville location. Jacqui discovered her love for horses when she began riding lesson at seven years old. Her passion lies in three day eventing where she has competed up to the FEI one star level. Jacqui completed her Equine Business Management Certificate at the University of Guelph and has also worked closely with the care and management of high performance sport horses in both showing jumping and eventing.

Kelly Matthew

Kelly is a native of Lancashire, England, now making her home in Caledon on a farm with a variety of furry and feathered occupants. Kelly has experience working in an equine veterinary environment and brings this experience to the MPES team. In her spare time she and her brother compete in rally racing all over Ontario, across Canada, and the USA as well as trips overseas to Scotland with car in tow.

Danielle Donald

Danielle spent 10 years managing a bustling lesson/boarding facility just 5 minutes from the Campbellville clinic where she was responsible for up to 100 horses and ponies. Danielle currently owns her retired Arab “Chicken” and also rides others’ horses on the side. Danielle lives in Mississauga with her partner Geoff, her Shepherd cross Sadie, and Dexter the cat. Danielle enjoys sailing out of National Yacht Club in Toronto, and regularly races across Lake Ontario during the May-August season, culminating with the World Championships – this year being held in Kingston.

Heather Young

Heather joined MPES team in December of 2016. She was born and raised in Guelph Ontario, she then went to school in Ottawa where she studied Criminology and Criminal Justice at Carleton University for four years, and graduated in 2015. Her passion for horses stems from her father. He trains Standardbred race horses that primarily race at Mohawk and Woodbine racetrack. Heather’s hobbies include travelling, being a foodie and learning anything there is to know about every breed of horse.

Newmarket Staff

Heather McPherson

Heather joined the MPES team in April 2008. With a degree in business from the University of Guelph, Heather comes with experience in running a small business and a marketing background. Heather has had horses her entire life and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, dogs and retired horses.

Erin Windsor

Erin joined the MPES team as a CSR in the Newmarket location in October 2013. Erin has been involved with horses since the age of 9. She has 10 years of showing experience under her belt. Most of her riding has been in the hunter ring, but she has also done the jumpers and 2 years of dressage, which she loved. When she is not around horses or teaching lessons, she loves to cook and spend time with her family. The only four legged animal she currently has is a cat named Dude.

Karen Foell

Karen Foell joined the McKee-Pownall team in 2012. A 2011 Graduate from Brock University, she attained a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. Karen has been involved in a variety of disciplines within the horse world but currently is focusing on Mounted Games.

Katie Renaud

Katie is a graduate of the General Arts and Science program and a recent graduate of the Social Service Worker program at Fanshawe College. She joined the McKee-Pownall team in 2017. Katie has been riding for over 15 years and has barrel raced competitively for 8 years. Outside of riding she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Caledon Staff
