Preventative Health Plan 2010
We are pleased to announce the details of our 2010 Preventative Health Plan. This is a prepaid wellness program specifically designed to provide you and your horse with the following benefits:
- Peace of mind that comes with knowing that your horse is receiving the best preventative health care on a regular and timely basis
- Focus on being proactive and identifying health issues before they become serious problems thus resulting in less emergency services required
- Establishing baseline values of your horse's organ function, complete blood count parameters, weight and parasite load
- Enrolling in the program is easy and saves you 10% on all items included in the package
- Additional services required throughout the year will also receive a 5% discount (i.e. emergencies, exams, consultations, products, call fees etc.)
Basic Package
- Annual vaccines- West Nile Virus, Eastern/Western Equine Encephalitis and Tetanus, Rabies, Rhino/Flu
- Fall Rhino/Flu Booster
- Routine Dentistry with Powerfloat
- Complete Blood Count and Biochemistry blood work to establish your horse's baseline values.
- General Health exam to evaluate your horse's eyes, heart, lungs and body condition and a full report detailing findings
- Fecal Parasite analysis twice yearly to ensure efficacy of deworming program and deworming consultation
- Weight tape for monitoring weight changes
- Front of the line access to informative webinars about your horses health
Performance Package
This package includes all items in the basic package plus:
- Pre-Season Performance Evaluation
- Coggins (EIA)
Other Information and Qualifications:
An additional charge applies for sedation when indicated. If your horse has never had a particular vaccine, a booster may be required three to four weeks later. In this situation, the client is responsible for the call fee and booster vaccine fees at 5% discount while enrolled in the Preventative Healthcare Program.
All clients enrolled in a Preventative Healthcare package will be invited to participate in online seminar topics such as: immunology, biosecurity, degenerative joint disease, respiratory issues, colic, vaccinating, nutrition, feed supplements. All topics will be developed on client requests.
How to sign up?
Early Registration: Sign up before February 28th, 2010 and receive 2 passes to our annual Client Education Day to be held March 6th, 2010.
New for 2010 will be a deadline for enrollment of March 15th, 2010. Registrations will not be accepted after this date. A yearly reminder will be sent out for you if you wish to renew your plan for the following year.
Payment Options
Payment is due at the time of enrollment. We accept cash, debit or credit cards as payment. Clients are welcome to increase the initial payment to offset non-plan extras such as call fees or sedation.
Pro-rated refunds will be made in the event of the sale or death of a horse. The program may also be transferred to another horse or the new owner of a sale horse (provided the horse remains in our practice area). Cash refunds will only be made if your account with us is current.
