McKee-Pownall Equine Services is comprised of a group of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff who are passionate about horses and want to continually improve the health and welfare of our equine companions.
Clinic History
Dr Melissa McKee and Dr Mike Pownall returned to Ontario in 2002 and started the first practice location in 2002.
Over the years we expanded to Newmarket, Millbrook, Caledon Equestrian Park (during the show season) and Mohawk Racetrack, and now employ 8 veterinarians and over 35 staff across these locations.
What We Offer
At every location we offer both farm call and in-clinic services for your convenience.
Every location offers comprehensive preventative health care, dentistry, emergency services, and advanced lameness diagnostics the Millbrook facility also offers full reproductive services including embryo transfer, and the Campbellville (Rockwood) location includes the only veterinary podiatry clinic and standing MRI system in Canada.
